China Post, also known as China Post Group Corporation Limited is a state-owned enterprise and the official postal service of China that provides nationwide and international postal services. It also provides universal services, parcel, express, and logistics business, financial business, and rural e-commerce services.
The postal operator is involved in carrying out a huge volume of shipments especially from the popular e-commerce platform Aliexpress and other similar platforms. China Post is governed by the State Post Bureau that regulates postal services in China. In 2019, China Post Group Corporation Limited ranked 2nd among the postal companies in the world.
International Postal Services by the China Post include Small Parcel, Large Parcel/Package, and Express Mail Service (EMS).
China Post Small Parcel service is the ideal choice for the delivery of lightweight items, weighing less than 2 KG or 4.4 pounds from China to other countries. It has two classifications, normal and registered. Normal is cheaper than the latter but can’t be tracked with shipment status.
Small Parcel is the most economic option available for lightweight items and for tracking information, it can be registered after which it can be tracked.
China Post Large Package service is for delivery of items weighing over 2 KG and less than 30 KG. Just like Small Parcel, it also has two classifications, Normal and Registered mail. The former is cheaper but can’t be tracked while the latter is a bit expensive but comes with tracking services.
Express Mail Service of China Post provides Express delivery services in both domestic and international regions. It is governed by China Postal Express & Logistics and other postal operators from around the world and it provides express delivery of documents, letters, samples, and all other kinds of goods.
